The best friend on earth of man is the tree: when we use the tree respectfully and economically we have one of the greatest resources of the earth.
Backyard Pond and Stream Design Restoration
TLC was asked to restore this backyard landscape in South Park Ranches in Jackson, WY. The property had a half acre pond on it, which was fed through an irrigation ditch that ran haphazardly through much of the backyard. The owners have children that wanted to use the backyard but were unable to as a result of the water feature layout.
Baseball Field, Hockey Rink and Play Ground
TLC’s design goals were to design the pond and stream to organize the water features to provide a usable and attractive layout to the family of four, while also designing additional elements into the landscape and water features that would make them more engaging. A big objective for the family’s twelve year old son was to create a baseball field and area for a hockey rink in the backyard. The main objective for the parents was to create a safe, functional, and aesthetic landscape with gardens, play spaces, habitat, and vistas. And for their four year old girl, the main objective was sand and a playground.
